DC Sisters Launch Boutique
to Help Afghan Artists

After returning to Afghanistan for the first time since childhood, sisters Alina Atash, Mariam A. Nawabi, Samira Atash, and Zohra Atash decided to create Artizan Sarai. During their visit, they were affected by the poor living conditions and decided to start a business that would provide sustainable jobs for economically disadvantaged artisans. They train artists and source jewelry, home decor, and accessories from countries like Afghanistan(mainly), Turkey, India and more.

Visit www.artizansarai.com to view the entire collection.
